Virag Gehl (BSc)
I completed my Bachelor’s degree (BSc) specializing on Microbiology and Genetics at the University of Vienna. At the same university I started my Master’s studies in Molecular Biology focusing on Molecular Medicine. After spending six months at the Center for Applied Medical Research in Spain, I joined the Tumor Biology group here at the CCRI to work on my Master’s thesis. My deep interest in cancer research and drug discovery and development related studies are well combined in the project that I am working on. As part of this study my main task is to identify potential therapeutics for high-risk neuroblastoma applying cell biological techniques as well as zebrafish xenograft models.
