Dr. Polyxeni Bozatzi (PhD)
I studied Biology (BSc) at the University of Patras, Greece and Medical Biology (MSc) at Radboud University, The Netherlands. I obtained my PhD in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from the University of Dundee, UK at the MRC Protein Phosphorylation and Ubiquitylation Unit. My interest in cancer research brought me to Vienna where I joined the Tumour Biology group in November 2018 as a postdoc. I am currently working on the PEDITE project, which focuses on the identification of new genetic and therapeutic vulnerabilities for high risk neuroblastoma. One of my main aims is to establish neuroblastoma xenografts in zebrafish embryos to preform functional biology and drug screens.
